Comprehensive privacy notice
Last updated: September 23, 2026
This Privacy notice describes how PUERTAS Y BARRERAS INTELIGENTES, S.A. DE C.V. (“Accesos Inteligentes”, “Aquiles”, “we”) handles personal data collected through https://www.aquiles-app.com (the “Site”), in line with Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties published in the Official Gazette on 20 March 2025 (the “LFPDPPP”) and its rules. The Spanish version controls.
1. Controller identity and address
Controller: PUERTAS Y BARRERAS INTELIGENTES, S.A. DE C.V. (Mexican tax ID PBI130529NY0), trade name Accesos Inteligentes, operator of https://www.aquiles-app.com. Tax address: José Trinidad Villagómez Nte. 2907, Col. Bella Vista, C.P. 64410, Monterrey, Nuevo León, México. Contact: soporte@aquiles-app.com. ARCO and privacy requests go to the same email.
2. Personal data we collect (only on aquiles-app.com)
Account: name, email, company, and password (stored hashed).
Payment: Stripe processes the card. We receive charge identifiers, subscription status, and the email tied to the payment; we do not store the full card number.
License: SAAS key, linked WordPress site URL, and plugin version, to activate the product and provide support.
Site use: messages you send to the aquiles-app.com product-guide chat, plus technical logs (for example IP address, browser, and server logs) needed to run the service.
We do not collect sensitive personal data. Because this is a business product, the data belongs to representatives or contacts of business customers.
3. Data we do not process
Chat on the Customer’s company site, catalog, visitor leads, appointments, quotes, documents, and their OpenAI API Key stay on the Customer’s WordPress or Docker server. The Customer is the controller of that data toward their own customers and must cover it in their own privacy notice. Accesos Inteligentes is neither controller nor processor of that data.
4. Purposes
Primary purposes (needed for the relationship): create and manage the account; process payment; issue and validate the license; deliver downloads; provide support; keep the service secure; and meet legal and tax duties.
Secondary purposes (not required): send you product updates and news, and analyze use to improve and develop the Software.
You may refuse processing for secondary purposes, without affecting contracted services, by emailing soporte@aquiles-app.com with the subject “No finalidades secundarias”. We do not sell your information. We may send service notices (payment, license, and plugin updates) as part of the primary purposes.
5. Simplified notice and electronic means
When data is collected by electronic means, a simplified privacy notice may be shown with a link to this comprehensive notice.
6. Processors
They process data on Accesos Inteligentes’s behalf and under Accesos Inteligentes’s instructions, without requiring your consent: Stripe (payments), the transactional email provider we use for service notices, and the host of aquiles-app.com.
7. Transfers
As a rule we do not transfer your data to third parties for their own purposes, and we do not sell it. We may disclose it to authorities when legally required, without your consent.
International transfers: Stripe is outside Mexico (United States / others). As to OpenAI, conversations from the Customer’s site chat reach OpenAI only through the API Key the Customer themselves installs (BYOK); we do not use a shared Aquiles key for that chat, so that flow is under the Customer’s control and responsibility. When a transfer requires your consent under the LFPDPPP, we will collect it first.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
aquiles-app.com uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions, session, and usage analytics. You can manage or disable them in your browser; disabling some may affect how the Site works.
9. Retention
We keep the account and payment history while the commercial relationship lasts and for as long as tax and record-keeping law requires. After those periods, data is deleted or anonymized.
10. ARCO rights and withdrawal of consent
You may exercise Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition (ARCO) rights, limit use or disclosure of your data, and withdraw consent. Send your request to soporte@aquiles-app.com stating: (i) your name and a channel for the reply; (ii) a document proving identity or representation; and (iii) a clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise. We will reply within the legal term and, if the request proceeds, give it effect under the LFPDPPP. Exercising these rights is free (except justified shipping or reproduction costs). You may also cancel the subscription from “My account” (Stripe portal).
11. Competent authority
If you believe your personal-data rights have been violated, you may go to the competent authority under the LFPDPPP.
12. Changes to this notice
If this notice changes in a material way, we will update this page with a new date and, when material and feasible, notify you by reasonable means.
