    Buy or demo

    Create an account on aquiles-app.com. The 15-day demo is the panel on this site (no card). To put chat on YOUR page you buy the plan ($99.99 USD/month or $959.90 USD/year (20% off vs 12 months)). Setup ($50.00 USD) is optional: you pay it only if you want us to install it.

    Download the plugin or ZIP

    In My account download the WordPress plugin (cPanel / web hosting) or the Docker ZIP (VPS or your own server) and copy your SAAS-XXXX key.

    Install it on your site or server

    WordPress: Plugins → Upload the ZIP → activate → paste the SAAS key and your OpenAI API key. In Settings → Mail configure hosting SMTP and send a test. Catalog and leads stay in your MySQL. VPS: INSTALAR.bat or ./install.sh. aquiles-app.com only checks the license; it does not store your catalog.

    Configure your business

    In the plugin: Aquiles → Catalog and Knowledge. In Settings paste OpenAI and SMTP (test email). On Docker: server panel, Copilot, and Settings. If you sell on Shopify, connect the store in Catalog to read price and stock. The chat on YOUR site sells YOUR business. Data is not sent to aquiles-app.com.

What Aquiles is

What is Aquiles?
Aquiles is an autonomous sales agent you install on your WordPress site or your own server. It helps your customers 24/7: it reads your documents, answers with your prices, and qualifies prospects. On WordPress/cPanel you use the plugin (no VPS). Catalog, leads, and documents stay in your MySQL. aquiles-app.com only checks the license. If you have a VPS, the Docker ZIP includes the full panel (CRM, quotes, appointments, copilot).
What does the application include?
The Aquiles commercial panel includes: • Public chat widget for your website, with WhatsApp handoff. • CRM of prospects captured by the agent. • Quotes (CPQ) with PDF and approval rules. • Appointment list with email confirmation. • Internal copilot for your sales team (RAG over your files). • Product and service catalog. • Team and permissions (invite staff). • Settings: branding, SMTP mail, language, embed snippet, discount policy. You bring your own OpenAI key (BYOK). Aquiles does not keep your pipeline on aquiles-app.com: the CRM runs where you install it.
How is it different from a normal chatbot?
A typical chatbot improvises and invents prices. Aquiles quotes only from your catalog and documents, can leave a quote pending if the discount or amount exceeds what you authorized, and routes to a human on WhatsApp when needed. It also captures the lead (name, email, company) and stores the history in your CRM.
Where is my data stored?
In your WordPress MySQL if you use the plugin, or in your Docker volume (SQLite) if you install the ZIP. Prospects, documents, catalog, and the OpenAI key are not sent to aquiles-app.com. aquiles-app.com only handles payment, the SAAS license, and downloads.
Does this guide appear on my company website?
No. This FAQ and the install chat exist only on aquiles-app.com (and in My account, for buyers). Each company's site gets THAT business's widget: it talks about their products, prices, and documents. It does not explain how to install Aquiles or quote the software.

Trial, purchase, and license

How does the 15-day demo work?
Sign up on aquiles-app.com and use the demo panel for 15 days, with no credit card. It is meant to see how the product looks. The demo does not install chat on your page and does not deliver the plugin, the Docker ZIP, or a production SAAS key. For that you buy the package and install it on WordPress or your server.
What do I get after I pay?
The plan is $99.99 USD per month, or $959.90 USD/year (20% off vs 12 months). The one-time install fee ($50.00 USD) is optional: you choose it at checkout if you want us to install it; otherwise you install it yourself with the guide. After payment, My account shows: 1. The WordPress plugin (standard install, no VPS). 2. The Docker ZIP (optional if you have your own server). 3. Your license key (SAAS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). 4. Billing (update card or view invoices). You pay by card on Stripe.
What is the SAAS key for?
It activates the plugin or the Docker installer. In WordPress: Aquiles → Settings. On Docker: the installer or /activation. Without a paid license the chat will not reply. aquiles-app.com only checks that key; it does not receive your catalog. Keep it private.
Do I get a Mexican CFDI invoice?
Stripe issues the payment receipt when it charges. A Mexican tax invoice (CFDI) is not generated automatically. If you need one, email soporte@aquiles-app.com with your legal name, tax ID, and tax address. The issuer is PUERTAS Y BARRERAS INTELIGENTES, S.A. DE C.V., tax ID PBI130529NY0.

Install

Do I install it, or do you?
You choose at checkout. You install it: you pay only the plan ($99.99 USD/month or $959.90 USD/year (20% off vs 12 months)). In My account you download the plugin or ZIP and follow this guide. We install it: you add $50.00 USD once. We contact you to leave it running on your WordPress or server. Either way you get the plugin, the Docker ZIP, and the SAAS key.
Where do I install Aquiles?
On the company's site or server, not on aquiles-app.com. Standard path (WordPress / cPanel): the WordPress plugin. No VPS or Docker. Catalog, leads, and documents stay in your WordPress MySQL. aquiles-app.com only confirms the SAAS key is paid. Optional path (VPS / Windows / Linux with Docker): the on-premise ZIP with INSTALAR.bat or ./install.sh, for the full panel. No GitHub or Vercel required.
How do I install on WordPress or cPanel?
1. In My account download the WordPress plugin and copy your SAAS key. 2. WordPress → Plugins → Add new → Upload the ZIP → Activate Aquiles Chat. 3. Aquiles → Settings: paste the key and your OpenAI API key (starts with sk-). Without OpenAI the chat will not reply. 4. Settings → Mail: hosting SMTP (a mailbox on your domain). Save, then click Send test email. Without SMTP the chat still works; notices will not go out. 5. Load catalog and knowledge. The chat appears on your site. 6. Leads stay under Aquiles → Leads, in your WordPress. Do not drop the plugin into public_html by hand: install it as a plugin. No Terminal or Docker needed.
What are the steps on a VPS or Docker server?
Only if you are not using the WordPress plugin. 1. In My account download the Docker ZIP and copy the SAAS key. 2. Upload it to the server and unzip it. 3. Windows: INSTALAR.bat. Linux: chmod +x install.sh && ./install.sh 4. Company, admin email, password, that server's URL, and the SAAS key. 5. Open the panel, paste OpenAI, and load your catalog. URL examples: http://IP:3000 or https://aquiles.yourcompany.com.
How do I install on a normal Windows server?
That is the usual path if the company already has a Windows server or an office Windows PC. 1. On that machine (not your laptop), unzip the ZIP. 2. Double-click INSTALAR.bat. Accept the administrator prompt if Windows asks. 3. If Docker Desktop is missing, the installer downloads and installs it. It often asks for WSL2 and a reboot: reboot, then run INSTALAR.bat again in the same folder. 4. Enter company, admin email, password, that machine's URL, and the SAAS key. 5. Leave the computer on. The chat on the company website points at this server. If you only want a personal test, use http://localhost:3000; for real customers use the office server's IP or hostname.
Does it work with any hosting?
If the site is WordPress (most cPanel plans), yes: install the plugin. No VPS required. If it is not WordPress and you want the full panel, you need a server that can run Docker (office Windows, VPS, or cloud). Your business data is not stored on aquiles-app.com.
How do I install on Linux, a VPS, or SSH hosting?
Upload the ZIP (SCP, SFTP, or the host panel), unzip, and: chmod +x install.sh ./install.sh If Docker is missing, the script can install it. Log out, log back in, and run ./install.sh again. If the site is public, use a domain with HTTPS (nginx.example.conf is in the package) and set that URL as APP_URL.
Is Docker inside the ZIP?
No. Docker is what runs Aquiles on the server. Shipping it in the ZIP would make the download huge. On Windows, INSTALAR.bat can install Docker Desktop (official, about 500 MB the first time). On Linux, install.sh can install it with get.docker.com. If the machine has no internet, on Windows you can put DockerDesktopInstaller.exe in the instaladores\ folder of the unzipped package.
Does the server need internet?
Yes, at least to install Docker/the image the first time and for the agent to call OpenAI (your API key). CRM data stays on the server. If you configure SMTP, email also goes out to your customers.

After install

What should I do on first login?
WordPress: Aquiles → Settings (SAAS key + OpenAI) → Mail SMTP and a test send → Catalog → Knowledge. The chat is already on your site. Leads are under Aquiles → Leads. Docker: open YOUR SERVER panel, paste OpenAI in Copilot, and load catalog and documents. If your store is Shopify, paste the myshopify.com domain and app token in Catalog.
Why do I need an OpenAI API key?
It is BYOK (Bring Your Own Key): each business uses its own OpenAI account. You control usage and conversations do not go through a shared Aquiles key. Create the key at platform.openai.com (it starts with sk-) and paste it in WordPress: Aquiles → Settings. On Docker: Copilot or Settings. Without it the chat will not reply. Token billing is from OpenAI, not Aquiles. Do not put it in your storefront code: the widget talks to your WordPress or server.
How do I put the chat on my site?
With the WordPress plugin the chat appears as soon as you activate it. No code to paste. If you use Docker or another site (Shopify, HTML): Dashboard → Settings → Embed on your website and copy the script. That chat sells YOUR business; it does not explain how to install Aquiles.
How does Aquiles read Shopify inventory?
On the Docker panel: Settings → Catalog → Read Shopify catalog. 1. In Shopify create an app (Settings → Apps → Develop apps). 2. Enable read_products and read_inventory, install it, and copy the Admin API access token (starts with shpat_). 3. Paste your-store.myshopify.com and the token. Aquiles imports products, prices, and stock on save, and refreshes them when someone asks in chat. The WordPress plugin already reads WooCommerce live. Shopify does not run inside WordPress: use the Docker ZIP and the widget in theme.liquid.
How do emails to my customers work?
In the WordPress plugin: Aquiles → Settings → Mail. Notices leave from YOUR domain mailbox, not aquiles-app.com. On cPanel create sales@yourdomain.com. Host: Outgoing Server (serverXXX.web-hosting.com), not mail.yourdomain.com. Port 465 with SSL or 587 without the checkbox. Username = the full email. Save, then click Send test email. Without SMTP the chat still works; lead, appointment, and quote emails just will not go out. On Docker: Settings → Notifications. Do not mix a cPanel mailbox with smtp-mail.outlook.com.

Day-to-day panel

What does each panel section do?
• Metrics: conversation and prospect volume. • CRM: lead records captured by chat. • Appointments: native list, confirmation, and reminders. • Quotes: PDF, statuses, and approval if amount or discount requires it. • Team: users and per-area permissions. • Copilot: internal assistant for your staff, using your documents. • Settings: branding, catalog, mail, widget, discounts, language, and license.
Does the chat offer discounts on its own?
No, unless you turn that on. In Settings → CPQ you can allow discounts and set the maximum authorized percent. If it is off, the agent quotes list price and does not ask for a discount. If the customer asks for more than the authorized percent, the quote stays pending for a manager.

Common issues

The installer stops on Docker or asks to restart
That is expected the first time. On a Windows server: open Docker Desktop and wait for the green icon. If Windows asked to reboot for WSL2, restart that machine and run INSTALAR.bat again in the same ZIP folder. On Linux/VPS: close the SSH session, log back in (docker group), and run ./install.sh again. Check with sudo docker info.
Port 3000 is already in use
Choose another port in the installer (for example 8080) or set HOST_PORT in .env and run docker compose up -d.
The chat does not reply
Usually the OpenAI API key is missing in Aquiles → Settings (plugin) or Copilot (Docker), or the license is inactive. On WordPress the home panel warns if it is missing. On Docker check /activation with your SAAS key and docker compose logs -f aquiles-app.
I forgot the admin password
On Sign in click “Forgot your password?”. You get an email with a link (2 hours). If the account is Google-only, sign in with Gmail. On Docker, if the installer generated it: docker compose logs aquiles-app or /data/admin-credentials.txt. If the server has no mail configured, email soporte@aquiles-app.com.
